This week Viola FFA president Maggie Perryman and vice president Haley Fowler got to attend the Chapter Presidents Conference at Camp Couchdale. They spent the week learning leadership, completing activities, networking, and gaining skills and ideas to bring back to the chapter. We are proud of our officers and excited to see what they bring back to help strengthen our chapter.

The cattle show at Fulton County Fair also wrapped up today with Viola FFA officers, Haley Fowler and Madi Walker, exhibiting commercial Charolais heifers.

Both won their class with their heifers and Haley exhibited the Reserve Champion Exotic Commercial Heifer.

Our Ag. Mechanics students, Ritchie Sudat, Aiden Tackitt, and Tucker Cowgill built a bale ring in class this past school year and have it displayed at the fairgrounds. We are looking forward to seeing the projects we are able to build and bring next year!

Poultry show today at the Fulton County Fair!

Current Viola FFA Secretary, Madi Walker, won Senior Showmanship, Supreme Overall Bird, Champion Bantam, and Champion Game Fowl.

Future Viola FFA members Baylor Wright and Jake Walker also exhibited poultry winning classes and showmanship.

Fulton County Fair show day 1 is in the books. Haley and Steve took Champion Junior Market Goat and Champion Junior Showmanship. Haley and Mabel won her class of dairy goats as well.

Today is cattle show day for Madi, Haley, and their heifers, yesterday was spent prepping for today and getting the cattle looking nice.

Chickens and rabbits also show today with several current and future Longhorn FFA members, stay tuned for updates on them and come see us at Fulton County Fair!
