VA's Adaptive Sports grant funds community organizations to help disabled Veterans engage in activities like hockey, fly fishing, boxing, creative arts and more. More than 90 grant recipients offer programs across all 50 states, D.C., Guam, and Puerto Rico.

VA's Adaptive Sports Grant helped the Flyers Warriors demonstrate how adaptive sports can amplify success and connection for Veterans nationwide.

Gold Star Mother's Day
The last Sunday in September honors those mother's who have lost a son or daughter serving in the U.S. military. Although this recognition is one no mother wants to bear, it is a title she wears proudly. Today, we recognize each gold star mom and thank her and her family.
