A tribute to all my Bluebelles from 2014-2022

It was a joy to be your coach..
Thank you for all the beautiful memories and for being a part of the Virginia Bluebelles twirl family.

Thanks to all of the parents and grandparents who let me spend time with your children or helped out and contributed to the team..without you and your help none of this would have been possible.

Last but not least thanks to all my drivers..who took time out of a busy day to carry music for the parades.

It was a beautiful ride and I loved every minute of it

THE VIRGINIA BLUEBELLES TWIRL TEAM HAS CANCELLED ALL CLASSES effective August 7th 2022.

It is with much regret that I announce the closing of The Virginia Bluebelles Twirl Team and Silverbelles, effective August 7, 2022

-ALL classes, including The Silverbelles adult team will be discontinued.

Unfortunately, for some time, steadily rising costs combined with reduced enrollment have created a significant financial challenge. I have worked hard to provide baton twirling lessons in this area at significantly lower rates and it is not sustainable in today’s environment.

I want to acknowledge and thank my supporting students and other supporters for their time and dedication to the team over the last 7.5 years. It was a very difficult decision, one I did not make lightly.

I will miss watching all the little girls grow up. I will miss the performing and friendships made. It has been a pleasure to work with all of you.

Photos of our mini family get together performance. We had a wonderful time...despite the backdrop kept falling over..the girls got a great laugh..all the balloons kept popping..so we really did wrap up the season with a bang🤣. I want to shout out a BIG THANKS to all of the Moms and Dads for all your help this season. We couldn't make it happen without you.

We are having a very small year end event/celebration.

MUSIC IN BLOOM- Fishburn park -lower level-11am- Sunday May 15th.

Mainly for friends and family of the twirlers... But if you are out and about and want to pop by for support. We'd sure love to have you.

We have had a challenging season trying to make it back from COVID shutdowns. And we are a very small team. This has some advantages and some disadvantages.

This season we've had more disadvantages..but most out of our control.. weather not cooperating... Students enrolled in multiple school activities with conflicting schedules (school first).... and then COVID hit our team.

The disadvantage is we didn't get much "Team" work in. I've done more video lessons than I ever have 😊. The advantage is we didn't give up..we survived..did the best we could and made the best of what we have and made it to the end of season!!!

We are celebrating our crazy season end and wrapping up with a couple numbers we worked on when we were together. And celebrating our love of twirling. With hopes that the future holds better plans.

You're welcome to celebrate with the team..come check out twirling. Watch our year end awards ceremony. It will be short n sweet...and You just may find something new you would like to try 😉
