Good afternoon everyone Hope you are enjoying the official start to summer. Don't forget next weekend is our business meeting at Tim's Birds place. 6483 26th ave Vinton. Start time is 1pm with a potluck. Bring your toys as we have a shoot permit. Sunday will be the PGI certification class. Starts at 9am. Online registrati9n at iowapyro.com page under calendar. Just an FYI, the next meeting is May 30th at 1pm. This will be a quarterly meeting and safety class wrapped into one pretty little shell. We will have our normal potluck for this day.
May 31st will be the PGI certification class at 9am. You can register and pay for the class through the www.
Iowapyro.com website. Lunch will be provided for the class. Look forward to seeing you all there.

Good morning. As many of you know, the IPA will not be putting on a Boomtown this year in Vinton, IA. However, next year the IPA is looking for a new home. That's right!!! The IPA could bring the BOOM to your city. We are looking for ground to shoot, camping, power for vendors, seating area. If you think your city has what it takes to host our huge show, please contact me at [email protected] or call 319-241-2361. We would love to hear from you.

Good morning all. Tony had to back out of doing our safety class due to work. The weather is not being pyro friendly today either. We will for go today's safety class. However, there is still an open shoot permit for today and the ground is plenty wet. Please fell free to bring your toys and play. We will address safety during our may meeting.

Good afternoon. Saturday will be out monthly class. This months subject will be safety. Meeting place will be Tim's at 1pm. Potluck as usual and there is a shoot permit for that evening. Look forward to seeing everyone.

Good morning everyone. Don't forget, this Saturday is our business team meeting. Time is 3pm at Tim Birds place. We will be doing elections, chatting about boomtown, new bylaws and a few other topics. We will also have a potluck so bring a dish please. Hope to see everyone there!

Good morning all. We will be having our business meeting February 21st at 3pm at Tim's place. We will be reviewing new bylaws and voting for officers positions. We will have a potluck luck and also putting together our new star rollers after the meeting. Currently not planning on having an open shoot permit unless everyone else has stuff to shoot. Please respond to this post if anyone has items to shoot for that meeting and we will apply for a permit if needed.
