Made a trip today to pick up our new planter and we're very excited about getting it in the dirt and start planting crops!! Starting soon will be corn followed by beans milo and sunflowers, if you've never hunted deer over row crop seeds then you are missing out! Some of these mixed with a green plot in the fall makes for a deadly combination!!

Finally got back down south to finish what we started!! Full day of dozing and planting, real rocky spot, bought a new rock rake that performed awesome, fertilized, seeded covered the seed then packed it in, going to be a sweet turkey plot in a couple of weeks!!

New thing this year, with every foodplot I do I will throw in one exclusion cage!! Great way to tell how much feeding activity is going on and also how well the plot is growing without pressure!! Addition cages will be $10

Got some great news today! The planter was finally finished and we're headed to pick it up in a couple weeks, ready to put this thing to work!! Will be perfect for my corn, bean, and milo plots!
