A little recap from Hot Summer Nights this weekend. We had a great outing with Lance’s car, running pb after pb before getting beat by Jim Lockwood in the semis by .002 thousands. We are still figuring out this hot rod but it is showing potential and we’re excited to keep pushing forward.

Big shoutout to our buddy Nate for tagging along and putting together an awesome recap video. He absolutely crushed it. Huge thanks to him for all the killer photos and footage. You asked for them and we listened! We now have Blues Brothers Racing t-shirts in stock! Fresh off the press we just received these today from the amazing people at Konstant Design! We are super happy with how these came out. T-shirts will be $25 a piece plus shipping while supplies last. It was a hard fought weekend fighting the new changes we’ve made. We struggled round after round but by the end of the night we were able to overcome the issues and park it in the winners circle. It was great seeing all of our titans family! Thank you to everybody supporting us this weekend both in person and from home!

Well everybody has been messaging me asking who made the Titans of 10.5 race #5 Friday night 4-car shootout at Tulsa Raceway Park September 8-9. So… here are the four cars. Justin Heckman, Jason-Tabetha Brown-Devin Brown, Russell Foreman, and myself-Blues Brothers Racing. $500 buy in. Chip draw with first round call outs. Well we came up short this weekend at Titans of 10.5 race #3 losing in the finals due to spinning the tire at the hit. We fought fuel pressure issues after E1 and struggled to keep the car happy each round due to this. That combined with the fact we never got a data log all day due to a corrupt file made it tough to diagnose. The whole crew thrashed and was able to fix the issue before the finals but with the correct fuel pressure the tune up we had in the car was just to fast for the surface. Great job to Titans of 10.5 and Ozark Raceway Park for running a flawless race. We started the race at 5pm and still finished by 1am. Awesome job guys. We are locked in for Jacob Harper Bear Sh*t Only Shootout this weekend at Extreme Raceway Park. This will be one of the baddest NT shootouts in the world and you don’t want to miss it!

Back to back WINS for Blues Brothers Racing! We were able to grab the win this weekend through some very stiff competition at the Titans of 10.5 Race #2 event. Every round was a door to door drag race. We will be back at Mid America Dragway this weekend for their second heads up event. We appreciate all of the support from our friends and family last weekend. Both those who were able to attend and those who watched online!

Blues Brothers Racing takes home the WIN! We managed to take home the Neal Chance Racing Converters #1 qualifier award as well as the Flip O Matic Racing Transmissions bounty award! We will be at Ozark Raceway Park this weekend for the Titans of 10.5 Race #2 event. Then we are headed back to Mid America Dragway for their second heads up series race the following weekend. We look forward to seeing all of our friends and family at these two upcoming events!
