🐴 Ella & Rowdy! 🤠

Ella and Rowdy had a great session together! We worked on steering, balance, keeping those hands down while riding, and becoming more comfortable and confident in the saddle. These two made a pretty great team!

Of course, the riding is only part of learning to be a horsewoman. Afterward, Rowdy got the full spa treatment from Miss Ella…grooming, lots of attention, and even a few well-earned “cookies” (horse treats, of course! 🍪🐴).

Then it was time to wrap things up, and as we always say around here: a cowgirl carries her own saddle! 💪🤠 Ella untacked, carried her saddle, and put all of her equipment away.

Great job, kiddo! We’re proud of the work you’re putting in both in and out of the saddle! ❤️🐴

🐴💙 Sawyer & Rowdy were back together Tuesday afternoon, and what a difference!

It had been a while since Sawyer had ridden Rowdy, but he hopped back on and immediately showed just how much he has grown as a rider. His steering, control, and confidence were so much stronger, and it was pretty amazing to watch.

One of the best things about learning to ride different horses is realizing that every horse teaches you something different. Each one challenges you in a new way and helps build another piece of your horsemanship. Then, when you come back to that tried-and-true horse—the one who helped you get started—you suddenly realize just how far you’ve come. ❤️

And Rowdy was Sawyer’s very first horse here, which made this ride even more special. The difference in Sawyer’s confidence and ability was remarkable. So proud of this kiddo!

Of course, around here, horsemanship doesn’t begin when you get in the saddle or end when you get off. Sawyer is learning the whole job—grooming, cleaning feet, tacking up, untacking, rinsing and bathing, and making sure his horse is comfortable and well cared for. 🪣🧽🐴

Our horses aren’t just here to carry kiddos around the arena. They’re partners, and learning to care for them is every bit as important as learning to ride them.

Great job, Sawyer! We’re super proud of the horseman you’re becoming and can’t wait to see where you go next! 🌟🐴💙

🐴💛 Emma & Lefty had such a great lesson Monday afternoon!

This may have been one of Emma’s best rides yet! She has really embraced the trot and is working hard on learning to post, and it’s so much fun watching her confidence grow.

We’re still fine-tuning body control, balance, and communication, but Emma has come such a long way. She’s getting more comfortable taking charge and becoming the confident little leader that Lefty needs. And, of course, Lefty is doing what Lefty does best…taking care of his girl while letting her learn. 🥰🐴

But riding is only part of the lesson around here! Emma is learning that being a horse girl means taking care of your horse before, during, and after the ride. From grooming and tacking up to untacking, caring for equipment, and even the not-so-glamorous barn chores… yes, that includes scooping p**p! 💩😂

Our kiddos aren’t just learning how to sit in a saddle. They’re learning how to care for a horse, manage barn chores, take responsibility, and understand the work that goes into horsemanship. Because being an equestrian is about so much more than riding. ❤️

Super proud of this little cowgirl and the progress she’s making—in and out of the saddle! Way to go, Emma! 🌟👏🐴

Yesterday may have been Maysn’s best ride yet! 🐴💗

Maysn has been riding for a while, but yesterday something really clicked between her and Lefty. They found their rhythm, started working together as a team, and you could just see Maysn’s confidence shine! ⭐️

Riding a new horse can take a little time to figure out, and trotting Lefty had been something Maysn was a little unsure about at first. Well… not anymore! 😂 Once she realized, “Hey, I’ve got this!” there was no stopping her. That smile says it all!❤️

And Lefty, of course, was the complete gentleman we know and love. 💙 He took care of his girl and gave Maysn exactly what she needed to find that confidence.

So proud of the effort and think these two are going to make quite the team! Really looking forward to seeing what they accomplish together!

Great job, Maysn! And good boy, Lefty! 👏🏼🐴💕

Amparo and Button had such a great ride yesterday! 🐴💗 And can we just say how thankful we are that Mother Nature finally turned the thermostat down a notch? 😂🔥🤣

We took full advantage of it and got out in the arena for some much-needed riding time. Amparo worked on her balance, popped Button over a few jumps, and really put her through her paces.

And Button? She was her wonderful, steady self…as always. 💕🐴

Great riding, Amparo! You two made a pretty awesome team yesterday! 👏🏼⭐️
