Thank you to all that attended the Community Dementia Support Class tonight hosted by Amedisys Hospice. Shoutout to our guest speakers from the Washington County Sheriff's Department.

This group meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm. Open to anyone in the community.

Tuesday June 9th at 6:30 pm Barlow VFD will host a monthly Dementia support group with Amedisys Hospice.

This month will feature the Washington County Sheriff's Department presenting information on Project Lifesaver and their SALT program. This class is offered free and open to anyone in the community.

This cabinet was designed and built by Brian Rauch. It is designed to meet our needs for a multi-media and printer cabinet. He included a secure records drawer for EMS & Fire reports.

Brian has always been a great supporter of our fire department!

Barlow VFD would like to recognize our members for their dedication and service to our response areas. During 2025 we responded to 343 EMS calls with 16 active responders. The responses ranged from medical calls, auto accidents, farm accidents, sports injuries and lost people.

Our response area includes Barlow, Fairfield, Palmer and portions of Watertown townships. In addition, we provide mutual aid to Warren, Dunham and Wesley townships with occasional response to other townships when needed.

Our members regularly train with outside organizations including Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Grant Trauma Center, MedFlight Air Medical Team and several local instructors.

We replaced one of our ambulances in 2025 and update our equipment to improved technologies when available.

We are always in need of new members. We meet every Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. Please stop by and inquire how to support our team.
