Super proud of these boys. Every single one of them struggled at some point this weekend, but they pulled it together and picked each other up when it counted. The bats were hot, but the defense was awesome in the final games. Turning double plays and laying out for anything near them. They simply wanted it more than anyone else. Congratulations winning the 11U Salute to Veterans tournament in Evansville!

It was another beautiful weekend for baseball in Linton. We played 4 games and saw a lot of ups and downs. Unfortunately, there were a lot of downs in the last game. We have to learn that we will win as a team and lose as a team, and if we let one or two plays get us down, we will lose a lot. Still, many good things happened. Pitching was solid all weekend. We hit the ball well in a couple games. We had really good effort by several individuals from start to finish. I apologize for not getting more pictures of plays in the field or outfield. It's hard with a phone. Oh, yeah and Oliver got another home run!
