At our stables we offer year-round horseback riding lessons and stall and pasture boarding with access to a lighted arena and round pen. Our mission is is to educate, enrich, inspire, and empower the lives of others in the community through the gifts of the horse. We provide year-round horseback riding lessons and boarding to Central Arkansas.

One of my favorite things to watch as Wofford Ranch continues to grow is seeing my instructors step up, load the trailers, haul horses, and take our students down the road to compete. It takes a whole lot more than just teaching a lesson. It takes time, responsibility, patience, encouragement, and a genuine investment in these kids and horses.

I’m incredibly proud of my team of instructors for giving our students opportunities to learn, compete, build confidence, and make memories outside of the lesson pen.

Good luck to everyone at the jackpot today! Run fast, ride smart, cheer loud, and most importantly have fun. I’m proud of y’all before you ever make a run. Always remember run YOUR race❤️🐴

One of the biggest lessons I strive to teach: Your horse’s body is a mirror image of yours.

Not the version of you that you think you’re presenting, but the version that actually shows up in the saddle. And this can differ from ride to ride.

They feel the nerves you try to hide. They compensate for the balance you don’t realize you’ve lost. (I saw this first hand barrel racing going through chemotherapy) And, they react to the hesitation you subconsciously don’t notice.

Horses don’t lie, and they don’t guess. They reflect!

As a rider, I challenge you! Instead of asking, “What is my horse doing wrong?” Start thinking, “What am I showing them?”

That’s where growth begins. Anybody can make a horse move, but a horseman will listen when one speaks.

As many of you know, I recently attended the BFA in Guthrie, Oklahoma. While Cali is currently quarantined off-site and continues to show no symptoms of EHV-1 or fever, we are taking every necessary precaution to protect our horses and our community.

Effective immediately, Wofford Ranch is implementing the following safety measures for a minimum of 21 days:
1. No group lessons will be held in El Paso.
2. No horses may be hauled into the barn during this period.
3. Any horse hauled off-site for any reason will be required to enter quarantine upon return if they have been around any other horses.

These measures are being taken out of an abundance of caution to help prevent the potential spread of EHV-1 and ensure the continued health and safety of all horses at the ranch.
