Thank you Coach Eric and the crew from Gladiators Academy of Youngsville for putting on another successful Summer Slam Jiu-Jitsu Tournament. We had some tough competitors on the mats and made some new friends.

Inner Game Jiu-Jitsu went with 6 competitors from our "Gangster Squad"

We had a total of 15 matches and had 12 wins with only 3 losses for the day! Taking home 3 gold medals and 2 silver medals.

Bodhi Vidrine - Silver
Easton Sonnier – Silver
Kason Castile – Kason did not place but he is improving every tournament, trains hard in class, shows up with a positive attitude everyday, and is putting in the work for success. I know he will get to the podium very soon!

At Inner Game Jiu-Jitsu every kid that competes win or lose is a first string starter. They put in the work and they can compete if they would like to test themselves and leave it all on the mats!

Lets welcome Luke Allen to the team..., who...Luke Allen, who....Pookie! Lets welcome Pookie to the mats. We are excited to have him join. His dad said he has wanted to join from day 1. It just took some time to take that first step and come onto the mats. We are happy he did....now he has the Jiu-Jitsu bug!

We loaded up the crew and went to American Grappling Federation Kids Worlds in Fort Worth.

Charlie had some very tough and highly skilled competitors. He ended up winning silver in gi on Saturday and won gold in no gi on Sunday.

Leah had a really challenging time against very skilled athletes, while being the youngest in the divisions and the lightest because she fought up a weight class. She had her day in her no gi challenger division where she took gold!

I am so proud of these two kids doing this big tournament and handling the losses with character and maturity and the same in victory.

No mandatory class attendance required, come as many times a week as your schedule allows. We would love to have you.
