Congratulations to our TDP dancers who earned a spot on their 2026–2027 school cheer and dance teams! 🎉

These accomplishments reflect the hard work, dedication, perseverance, and growth our dancers have poured into this season both inside and outside of the studio, and we couldn’t be prouder. We can’t wait to watch each of you shine this year!

MAY we introduce our Student of the Year… ✨
Ava Lafleur 🤍

Ava is a 7th grade student at Sacred Heart School and has been a dedicated member of our CAST program for the past 2 years. Throughout her time at The Dance Place, she has continuously demonstrated leadership, kindness, commitment, and an incredible work ethic both inside and outside the studio.

She is a true role model to our younger dancers and a shining example of what it means to represent TDP with grace, passion, and dedication. We are so proud of the growth she has shown this season and honored to recognize her as our Student of the Year.

Join us on June 6th at the Coughlin-Saunders Performing Arts Center to watch Ava take the stage for her solo performance at our Season 9 recital.

Very few, if any, tickets remain for the 1:00 PM show, with plenty of seats still available for our 5:00 PM performance.

May we introduce our SZN9 C.A.S.T. ✨

Created to give dedicated dancers the opportunity to grow as leaders, mentors, and role models, The Dance Place’s Class Assistant Student Training Program allows selected students to assist in weekly classes while gaining valuable teaching and leadership experience.

But to us, they are so much more than assistants.

They are the smiling faces helping younger dancers feel safe and confident. They are the ones stacking mats after class, organizing costumes, decorating the dressing room halls, helping during rehearsals, clinics, picture weekend, recital preparations, and quietly stepping in wherever help is needed most.

Chosen for their kindness, responsibility, positivity, and commitment, these students represent the heart of our studio. They lead with patience, encourage with compassion, and remind our younger dancers what it means to grow not only as performers, but as people.

To our incredible C.A.S.T. team: Thank you for every little thing you do that often goes unseen. Your impact reaches far beyond the studio walls, and the love you pour into this studio helps shape the experience of every dancer who walks through our doors.

We are endlessly proud of you and grateful for the example you set each and every day. 🖤
