💜🥎 LAST NIGHT WAS BIGGER THAN SOFTBALL. 🥎💛
Yes, your Lady Wildcats came away with a big 8–2 win over the Bowdon Red Devils, but the final score was only a small part of what made last night so special.
Last night was about community, giving back, and showing the next generation what it means to be a Lady Wildcat.
We were honored to recognize Bain Dental & Aesthetics Group and their generous donation toward our beautiful new windscreen. Their support is another reminder that we have people and businesses in this community who believe in these girls and believe in what we are building. We were proud to have them throw out the ceremonial first pitch and be a part of such a special night.
Then came one of our favorite parts of the evening — REC NIGHT.
Our future Lil Wildcats got to step onto the same field they may one day call home. They played catch with our girls, laughed and competed in a relay race, and spent time getting to know the players they look up to.
But the moment that meant the most was watching those little girls take the hands of our starters and walk them out to their positions on the field.
For a few minutes, you could see the entire Wildcat softball family right there in front of you — the girls wearing the uniform today and the little girls dreaming about wearing it tomorrow.
That is why nights like this matter.
We are not just trying to win softball games. We are trying to build something these girls, this school, and this community can be proud of for years to come.
Thank you to our families, our rec program, our local businesses, our fans, and everyone who continues to pour into Lady Wildcat Softball.
Last night we won 8–2, but what happened beyond the scoreboard was even better. 💜💛
