Well, the camp has officially come to an end, and I can't say thank you enough to everyone who helped make this week such a huge success.
The last night of Little Wildcats Camp was filled with fun, excitement, and memories that these young athletes will hopefully never forget. We finished the week with two scrimmage games, allowing our future Wildcats to put their hard work on display and show off the skills they learned throughout camp.

The first group to take the field was our 5–8-year-olds, and what a fun group they were. There was a tremendous amount of talent, energy, and enthusiasm on that field. They gave it everything they had for an hour, competing, learning, and having fun every step of the way. As soon as the final out was recorded, they were off to the Kona Ice truck faster than they ran the bases all week! 😂

Our second scrimmage featured players ages 9–12, and it was an exciting game from start to finish. We had one young lady hit her second over-the-fence home run of camp, a fun sister rivalry that had everyone smiling, and countless great plays throughout the game. Most importantly, we saw confidence, teamwork, and a genuine love for the game. This group is loaded with talent, and the future of Lady Wildcats Softball is incredibly bright.

I want to personally thank every parent who trusted us with their child this week and brought them out each evening. Thank you for your support, encouragement, and for investing in the future of our program. Thank you to our players for showing up with great attitudes and giving maximum effort every night. Thank you to our high school players who volunteered their time to teach, mentor, and build relationships with these young athletes. You represented the Lady Wildcats program the right way and made a lasting impact on these kids.

A special thank you to Kona Ice for helping us put the perfect finishing touch on an incredible week.

As a coach, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing smiles on faces, confidence grow, and young athletes fall in love with the game of softball. This week was about much more than softball—it was about building relationships, creating memories, and continuing to grow the Wildcat family.

Thank you again to everyone who played a part in making Little Wildcats Camp a success. We are excited about where this program is headed, and after seeing the talent and passion on display this week, I can confidently say the future of Lady Wildcats Softball is very bright.

Yesterday, the weather may have forced us off the field for Day 2 of Little Wildcats Camp, but it couldn’t slow us down! The energy stayed high as we moved indoors, worked on our defensive skills, competed in relay races, and had an absolute blast together.
But tonight is what everyone has been waiting for!

The weather is perfect, the field is ready, and it’s time for our Little Wildcats to take center stage. Our campers will hit the field for live scrimmages and have the chance to show off the skills they’ve been learning all week. From big hits to great defensive plays, there’s sure to be plenty of excitement and smiles all evening long.

To make the night even better, the Kona Ice truck will be on site, making it a fun evening for the entire family!

Great first night of Lady Wildcats Softball Camp!

The weather was perfect, and the Little Wildcats were running wild all over the field, showing off their talent, energy, and love for the game. From the Big Cats helping teach and encourage to the Little Cats smiling from ear to ear, it was a night filled with excitement, learning, and fun.

Seeing the older players invest in the next generation is what building a program is all about. The future of Lady Wildcats Softball is bright, and tonight was a great reminder of the special things happening within our softball family.

Thank you to all the players, parents, and coaches who helped make night one a success. We can't wait to do it again tomorrow!

Wednesdays are for friendship and worship.

Tonight was a special time of coming together as a team to slow down, connect with one another, and focus our hearts on God. There’s something powerful about gathering in fellowship—building friendships that go beyond the field and encouraging each other through faith and purpose.

Our message centered around playing with confidence and courage through faith. In Joshua 1:9, we are reminded to be strong and courageous and not be afraid, because God is with us wherever we go. In Ephesians 2:10, we’re reminded that we are God’s workmanship, created with purpose to do good works for His glory. As athletes, that truth allows us to play freely and confidently, knowing our identity is found in Him—not in wins, losses, or statistics.

We are especially grateful to Jefferson’s Villa Rica for hosting us and continuing to support our program. Your hospitality and generosity mean so much to our team, and we truly appreciate you opening your doors to us for nights like this.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made tonight one of fellowship, worship, and meaningful connection. These moments are helping build something bigger than softball—they are shaping strong young women in faith, friendship, and character.
