🎄 Well, it’s definitely feels like Christmas🥎

It’s Canaan Weekend, and all of us at Granite State Bat Company couldn’t be more excited!

This year, Granite State Bat Company is proud to be the OFFICIAL BAT of the tournament! The tournament bats were delivered Tuesday, and we wanted to give everyone a quick rundown before the games get underway.

🟢 26 & 27 oz. — Green Handle
These are comparable to our Jefferson Model.

⚫️ 28 & 29 oz. — Black Handle
These are comparable to our Canaan Model.

The weight of each bat is marked on the bottom of the handle in ounces. Each field will have one bat of each weight available throughout the weekend, so everyone will have a chance to find the weight that feels right.

We’ll also have bats FOR SALE at the tournament! Keep an eye out for KDawg and PH. Our current inventory is limited, so if you see something you like, come find us.

And if you’re looking for us on the field, we’ll be playing as GSBC/DH — although most of you probably know us as Dumpling House.

Most importantly, swing the bats this weekend and let us know what you think! We want your feedback, and we’ll be ready to take orders after the tournament.

This weekend, the Granite State Bat Company crew did a little something.

✅ 4-0 on the weekend.
🔥 Team batting average north of .800.
🏆 Back-to-back champions.

But the wins weren’t the best part.

This group was everything we hope GSBC stands for. No complaints. No egos. Everyone embraced their role, picked each other up, and came ready to compete. The only thing we couldn’t seem to avoid was two upset tummies.

That’s what happens when you build a culture instead of just a roster.

At Granite State Bat Company, we’ve always believed that great people make great teams. New England softball is full of incredible players, and even better people. This weekend was another reminder of that.

We were honored to support the New Hampshire Fallen Officers Memorial Softball Tournament, raise money for an incredible cause, and spend the weekend with some of the best people this game has to offer.

Bringing home the trophy for the second straight year is something we’re proud of—but giving back to the softball community is what matters most.

We’re just getting started.

🚨 GSBC Glove Update! 🚨

The wait is almost over.

Our first run of Granite State Bat Company Batting Gloves has officially rolled off the production line and is on its way to New England.

If everything stays on schedule, they’ll be arriving in Dover, New Hampshire in about one week. From there, we’ll begin sorting orders and getting them into your hands as quickly as possible.

We can’t wait for everyone to see the quality we’ve been working on. This is just the beginning.

Welcome to the Factory, John Perry Jr.!

Granite State Bat Company is proud to welcome John Perry Jr., better known to most of the wood bat community simply as “Junior”, as our newest GSB Factory Player.

Junior has built a reputation as one of the most respected players in the game, competing on multiple championship teams and earning the respect of teammates and opponents alike. His calm, steady demeanor on and off the field is exactly what Granite State Bat Company stands for. He lets his game do the talking.

We’re also excited to announce that Junior will be making GSB history with the release of the company’s first-ever 33” Signature Pro Maple Bat. Built to his specifications, this bat is designed for hitters who demand elite performance without sacrificing control.

Welcome to the Granite family, Junior. We can’t wait to see what the future holds.

A Message from the Owners

Hey guys, PH and K Dawg here.

We wanted to take a minute to give everyone an update and be completely transparent about where things stand.

As most of you know, Granite State Bat Company started as a hobby between two friends. What began as a passion project has quickly grown into a second full-time job. Both of us work full-time during the week, so we’re balancing bat production with our regular jobs, answering texts and emails, and catching up with customers during league nights.

Recently, we’ve also run into supply chain challenges. The wildfires in Canada have affected the availability of wood and delayed the delivery of billets, which has slowed production and increased wait times for everyone. We know that’s frustrating, and we truly appreciate your patience.

Being a first-year business, we’ve reinvested nearly everything back into the company. Much of the growth so far has come directly out of our own pockets because we believe in building something that will last. Over the next month, we’ll be investing even more into inventory so we can keep a surplus of bats on hand and dramatically reduce turnaround times.

Right now, we’re also working through a large production order for the Canaan, Vermont tournament, which has taken a significant amount of our time. At the same time, we don’t yet have our own website, so we’re relying on Etsy as our primary ordering platform, and we’re definitely feeling the growing pains that come with that.

If you’re local and you’re looking to purchase a bat, feel free to send us a message directly. We can arrange local pickup, which allows us to bypass Etsy and eliminates shipping altogether. It’s the quickest and easiest way to get a bat into your hands.

We sincerely want to thank every one of you who has supported us by purchasing a bat, a jersey, or simply sharing our name with others. Your support means more than you know. We’re doing everything we can to get every order completed and delivered as quickly as possible, and we ask for just a little more patience as we continue to grow.

We promise it’s only going to get better from here.

Do you find yourself standing around at coed league night wondering why everyone keeps talking about the Challenge Cup… even though your biggest accomplishment this year was hitting a three-hopper to second?

Do you feel a strange sense of insecurity every time someone walks by wearing their Challenge Cup hoodie? Have you convinced yourself that if you just had the gear, you’d instantly gain .40 points to your average and become a “tournament guy?”

Well, good news.

Introducing the Granite State Bat Company “Challenged Cup” Collection—made specifically for the rest of us.

Because not everyone can qualify for the Challenge Cup… but everyone can qualify to be challenged.

Wear it proudly while explaining how you “would’ve made the team if you weren’t busy that weekend,” reminding everyone about the home run you hit in 2018, and telling anyone who’ll listen that you’re “really more of a conference player.”

At Granite State Bat Company, we’ve always been a family-driven business. From the very beginning, our goal was to support local softball players and give back to the community that helped shape us.

As our journey has grown, we’ve realized our vision extends far beyond softball bats. Today, we’re proud to introduce Blaze Bocash of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, as the first baseball player to swing a Granite State Bat in competition.

This is just the beginning. We’re incredibly excited to partner with Blaze and his parents, Sarah and Michael Bocash, who have been respected members of the Seacoast softball community for many years. We have no doubt that Blaze has a bright future ahead, and we’re honored to be a small part of his journey as he swings Granite.
