Bat speed in slowpitch doesn't come from the arms. It comes from a sequence: load into the back leg, pelvis turns, chest turns, hands snap through last, in that exact order.
This band drill isolates that sequence with nothing else to rely on. Lock the front foot down for the harder variation, and the back hip has to do all the work.
One honest caveat: this drill trains rotation, not weight transfer (back foot to front foot). If your swing feels disconnected in a different way, that's a separate fix, not this one.
6 to 10 reps, as explosive as you can make them. What's the first thing you're checking next time you're in the cage? A) Load, B) Rotation order, or C) Hand timing. Drop a letter. 👇
