After 6 months of hard work, Zenaia Gray one of our black belt students achieved a major accomplishment of publishing her first book! Yes, her first book, 100% of Zenaia's own writing and illustrating. Below you will find the press release and details about it, her inspiration, and where to get a copy of it.

Press Release: Zenaia C. Gray announces the release of โMagic and Spells: Petunia and the Silver Tridentโ Book 1
FAIRFAX, VA. โ One day at school, 8-year-old author Zenaia C. Gray was playing a game with her friends, which involved many magical characters. Then, they decided to get their notebooks and started to write about their characters. Zenaia got carried away writing about the story of Petunia, Shelby, and Thundercloud, which eventually led her to release the fiction fantasy book, โMagic and Spells: Petunia and the Silver Tridentโ (published by Xlibris).
Three fairy friends Petunia, Thundercloud and Shelby must go on a quest to save their own home from a dark wizard named Oron. On this quest, they experience many scary and fun adventures, learn new magic, spells, and most of all, discover what friendship is all about. Petunia also learns who she really is. Is she the true heir of the Ocienies?
โAs an 8-year old writer, I was able to use my time during this pandemic to create something special and magical. It is already hard staying at home but, I have used my time productively. I am inspired by Petuniaโs bravery of not giving up when things get hard,โ Zenaia says. When asked what she wants readers to take away from this book, she answers,โ I want readers, especially the young readers to know that everything is possible if they put their hearts into whatever they are doing.โ
