Formerly known as Bikram Yoga, this class is a throwback to where it all began in 2001.
26 postures and 2 breathing exercises practiced in a heated room. Improve flexibility, strength, and balance. Increase mental focus, lung capacity, circulation. Lower heart rate, lose weight, move out toxins, move in Peace...list of possibilities goes on and on.

We start with Pranayama breathing, filling the lungs to oxygenate the body and prepare for postures. There is a standing posture series to encourage balance and strength and then we move to the floor for deeper work in the spine and major joints. In 90 minutes we will have worked 100% of the body in some way or another. We will see improvements every week and I encourage you to commit to your weekly class the best you can. Consistency is where you will see and feel true change.

If you have not done this class for a decade or more do not worry, we will be taking things slow, having fun and giving ourselves permission to be where we are and loving it. “Do the posture correctly, have good form and all benefits will follow.”
This is not about doing things we used to be able to do, it’s not about pushing ourselves into places we used to be able to go. It’s about renewing ourselves in this present moment through physical challenge and mental focus.
It’s about coming together and working hard for a flow experience and tapping in to something bigger and more powerful than ourselves.

This class is for beginners! There are many steps and paths into a yoga posture and none of the postures we practice in this series is of an advanced nature. There will be more focus on breath, form, and rest. You will never be asked to keep up, do more, go further, but instead encouraged to take your time, enjoy the process, and go easy. If you have any questions or concerns

BHAKTI EMBODIED: A SOMATIC BHAKTI YOGA WEEKEND with Luna Ray

Join Luna Ray for an inspiring weekend as we use a body-centered approach to explore the mystical and heart opening practices of bhakti yoga. According to Staci Hines, Somatic practices are about growing our capacity to be present with a wide range of sensations and emotions. We will study the path and practices of Bhakti Yoga, including mantra, song, ritual and more to expand our Somatic awareness, and our ability to feel alive and connected to ourselves, each other and the world around us.

Friday October 2nd, 6:00-9:00pm.
Soma, Mantra & Magic: In sanskrit, Soma means the “juice of life”. Mantra means "to protect and purify the heart and mind".
This evening workshop will begin with a simple overview of **Somatic Experiencing (™), followed by a short accessible bhakti yoga asana flow.
We will then learn the in's and out's of mantra, from the language of, to the history of, to the science of, to the psychology of.
The evening will conclude with a powerful Bhakti yoga ritual that will merge, mantra, community, and somatic practices.

This will give us access to “the juice of life”, and the magic will emerge.

You will need a yoga mat and a sacred object that is meaningful to you. (i.e.- pic of family, something from the earth, jewelry, etc…)

**Somatic Experiencing TM (SE) was developed by Peter Levine, Ph.D. to help people heal and thrive. It is a gentle, and effective approach to healing trauma. SE uses the “felt sense” (learning to feel body sensations) to explore where energy may be constricted, and even “stuck” in the body.

This can be acute trauma, (i.e. car accident), chronic trauma (i.e. body pain), developmental trauma (i.e. childhood challenges), or intergenerational trauma ( i.e. trauma carried through your ancestral lineage). Trauma here is defined as an emotional state where the nervous system is too overwhelmed to complete a healthy flight, flight or freeze cycle.

Instead of the energy dispersing from the body, it gets stored in the body, and can affect the brain, organs, and emotions. This constricted energy in the body shapes the way one experiences themselves, and the world. Over time, this can cause chronic pain, anxiety, depression, challenges in relationships, digestion, hormonal, or immune system weaknesses, and more. The body is very wise, and when we slow down, listen and feel, a lot can happen. With this awareness of the body, the “stuck” energy can begin to release in gentle ways.

The Kleshas...by Deborah Adele.
Exploring the Elusiveness of Happiness...

Yoga is so much more than what happens on the mat. It's a path toward understanding our own hearts, our patterns, and why we suffer, so we can meet ourselves with more compassion. This book is a beautiful companion for that journey.
_
Deborah Adele gently unpacks the five kleshas, the root causes of suffering named in the Yoga Sutras. Here's a look at each one:
1. Avidya (Ignorance) - The forgetting of who we truly are. A tender misunderstanding that we are somehow separate, small, or not enough.
2. Asmita (Ego) - When we mistake our roles, titles, and stories for our whole selves. Not confidence, but a case of forgetting there's more to us underneath.
3. Raga (Attachment) - Our natural longing for what feels good, and the quiet ache that comes from holding on too tightly.
4. Dvesha (Aversion) - The instinct to push away what feels uncomfortable or unwanted, and how that resistance can keep us stuck.
5. Abhinivesha (Fear) - A deep, human fear of loss and letting go, one that lives in most of us more than we realize.

Each chapter offers real stories and gentle reflection questions, an invitation to notice these patterns in ourselves with kindness instead of judgment.
_
We'd love to hear which klesha feels most familiar to you...🙏🏼

Full Circle isn't just a place to move your body. It's a place to heal it.
We offer so much more than movement...here's everything available for the deeper work...
_
Somatic Breathwork...Your body holds what your mind can't always say out loud. Somatic Breathwork...uses breath to access and release stored tension and emotion at the nervous system level...no talking required, no experience necessary. This is where healing happens beneath the surface.

Guided Meditation...Stillness isn't the absence of thought...it's a relationship you build with your mind, with support. Guided meditation gives you a steady voice to follow inward, so you're never doing it alone, even in silence.

Asana Practice...Movement as medicine. Asana is the physical practice of yoga...postures designed to move stuck energy, build strength, and create space in the body for whatever needs to surface and release.

Pranayama...Breath is the bridge between your nervous system and its ability to calm itself. Pranayama is the formal practice of breath control...ancient, precise, and one of the fastest ways to shift your state from the inside out.

Private Sessions...Sometimes healing needs a room of one. One-on-one time, fully tailored to where you are right now...body, breath, and nervous system.

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT)...For those ready to go deeper...not just into practice, but into themselves. This is a full immersion into the philosophy, anatomy, and lived experience of yoga as a healing path, whether or not you ever teach a class.

Project Yoga MOV ...Healing shouldn't depend on what you can afford. Project Yoga MOV is our nonprofit arm, bringing trauma-informed, accessible yoga and wellness programming to the wider Mid-Ohio Valley community.

Curious which one is calling to you? Message us...we'll help you find your starting point.

We often seek a life anchored in balance, because intuitively we understand that it brings regulation to our nervous systems. In Yoga philosophy, Samana Vaya is the movement of air associated with balance and stability. When we bring equal count inhales and exhales into our bodies, we generate steadiness, symmetry, and composure. Together, let’s inhale 1, 2, 3, 4 and exhale 1, 2, 3, 4 –harmony starts here. Breathe in. Breathe out. 🫁
