There will be a co-ed softball tournament in Vidalia on September 28th benefitting some of the Vidalia High school cheerleaders. DM for more details.

Great news: the rec board gave us the green light to play and move back to the old field. Still waiting on the lights to be fixed but they're supposed to talk with the mayor soon about fixing them. If they're fixed before the end of May, I would like to start the league by the second week of June. Get in contact with me so I can get your team's entry fee and get your team put on a schedule.

Been asked a lot lately if we're playing this year and the answer is yes. Have to meet with the rec board about some changes we're making this year bc of what happened last season. Want to move back to the old field but the lights are out in right field so we'll need to see what's done about that. Should know by May 9th for sure but as of now the plan is to still play.

The 2023 season is coming soon. As some of you know, the league is no longer being ran by the same person and there’s going to be a few changes this year to see how things go. The first major change is a switch from 6 and 4 to 7 and 3 (7 guys and 3 girls) . The next, any guy that picks up must bat opposite handed in the 10th spot and play the right side of the outfield. Any girl pick up has to catch and bat 9th. Games will be 55 minutes this year with no new inning with less than 3 minutes remaining. Bat and ball rules will still be the same. Deadline to enter will be May 31st and entry has to be paid before being placed on the schedule.
