Considering downsizing our herd...
Here's who's up for discussion:
SPLASH- a ten year old beautiful and seasoned "in-hand" show pony- he won performance pony of the year and countless high point awards with our 3 kids over the 5+ years that they participated in shows. He's trained to ride- and will walk, trot, canter, and even jump under saddle. He's not very big though, so needs a small rider- 70 pounds MAX if they're very well balanced, and about 60 pounds if they're not. He isn't for a tiny beginner rider. (Unless they're lead-lined only). He's not "bomb-proof" like I want my lesson ponies for independent beginner riders.
JUNIOR- Scout's baby from this year. He's a unique color, is as friendly as they come, and is built great. He will make a nice riding or cart pony when he's old enough to train. He's just 4 months old, but almost ready to find a new home.
RIO- a beautiful miniature appy stud pony with a ton of color. He is kind to his mares and definitely knows his job. He is not a children's pony- they're fine to pet him as he's not going to bite or kick, but his manners when mares are around make him unsuitable for a kid's pet. He makes beautiful babies, and a gorgeous pasture ornament.
