I would like to take a moment to extend heartfelt thanks on behalf of my team and myself to all our clients who chose LLHUNT for their hunting adventures at the Frank Yturris Ranch. This hunting season has truly been remarkable! As we kicked off our season from November to April, the ranch was in pristine condition. The wildlife habitat was the healthiest I’ve witnessed in years, with animal populations thriving across the board. Recently, we received a much-needed 5-6 inches of rainfall, just when we thought things were getting a bit dry. As we prepare to wrap up our camp in April, I’m thrilled to see such promising wildlife numbers. Looking ahead, the 2025-26 season is shaping up to be another fantastic one!

February is always a fun time at the Yturris Ranch. We see many old friends returning to hunt, and we have the opportunity to make new ones.

Some days unfold in unexpected ways. I had a folding knife that, without my knowledge, opened up while resting in my pocket. Its sharp tip managed to press through the fabric of my pants, ultimately meeting my hand. Luckily, it looks a lot worse than it was. The group in camp all harvested great bulls and hopefully, we will see them again next season.

January 2025 has started off great! We have purchased a DJI Mavic T3 to assist in Nilgai recovery, which is significantly speeding up our recovery time. Finally, we are experiencing some winter weather, and the Nilgai bulls and Whitetail bucks are active. This makes it an excellent time to be at the LLHUNT Yturria Ranch.
