I met some great folks from SETTA a few years back at a tennis tournament!

Rallying together for one of our own! 🎾💚🏓

Our long-time league player, Penny Vayon, is currently fighting B-Cell Lymphoma, and it’s our turn to hit the courts and support her. Join us for The Racquet and Paddle Rally—a morning of tennis and pickleball dedicated to helping smash and dink Penny’s medical expenses!

Whether you play tennis, pickleball, or just want to support a great cause, there's a spot for you!

📍 Location: Beaumont Tennis Complex (Beaumont, TX)

Tennis Mixer: USTA Ratings 3.0, 3.5, 4.0

Pickleball Mixer: DUPR divisions for 2.5–3.0, 3.1–3.5, and 3.6+ (Ages 18–49 & 50+)

Hey, hey, hey… It’s MY birthday!!🥳

Allow me to introduce myself, I’m Paula! I’ve been on the CTPA 🎾 board for three years now.

What do I do as a board member?
…mostly I direct people to smile when I see them on the courts so I can snap their pictures! 📸

So, if you’ve ever looked up at a playday and thought, “Why is that random person taking my picture?”…
That was me! 😉

I’m also your CTPA social media marketer, manager, photographer, hype woman, tennis influencer… or, as I prefer to describe myself…
🎤 A lyrical gangsta 🎶
(like a poet… and didn’t know it 😉)

But seriously, on my birthday, I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone in our Crossroads-area Tennis & Pickleball community.

Thank you to everyone who comes out to our events, playdays, brings your family and friends, introduces someone new to the sport, shares our events, encourages others to learn, play and grow, and simply shows up ready to have a good time.

It’s a birthday gift to see so many people laughing, competing, learning, making friends and just having FUN on our courts.

I’m grateful to our CTPA board for being a great team and to be a part of the Crossroads tennis and pickleball community. Thankful to have the opportunity to see our community come together on the courts and to capture and share so many of those moments with all of you.

So today, on my birthday, I’m celebrating YOU, our CTPA community! 🥳
