🏀Reminder to all players and parents:

Please make sure athletes are following league rules and wearing appropriate basketball shorts during games.

As league administration, the League Director and Coordinator will address any dress code concerns directly with the athletes in a respectful and private manner. This helps avoid placing coaches—many of whom are male—in uncomfortable situations and ensures consistency across the league. Dress code will be enforced at the discretion of league administration.

We enter tournament play next week, and all participants should be familiar with league rules by now. If you have any questions, please reach out to your coach for clarification on expectations .

Parents are asked not to approach the score table or game officials during league play. All concerns should be directed through proper league channels. League play has rules and procedures that all participants, coaches, and spectators are expected to follow.

🏆 Sportsmanship Matters—On and Off the Field

Recent events have reminded us that sportsmanship extends beyond the final whistle. As athletes, coaches, parents, and supporters, we all share the responsibility of creating a positive and respectful environment for our student-athletes.

Competition can be intense, but respect for others should always remain at the center of youth sports. This includes our actions and words not only during games, but also at school, in the community, and on social media.

We encourage everyone to remember:

✅ Respect opponents, teammates, coaches, officials, and spectators.
✅ Win with humility and win or lose with grace.
✅ Think before posting, commenting, or sharing on social media.
✅ Avoid negative, disrespectful, or hurtful remarks about others.
✅ Remember that every athlete deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

Our league is committed to providing a safe, positive, and competitive environment where student-athletes can learn, grow, and succeed. We appreciate the support of our coaches, parents, and athletes in helping us uphold these values.
