We began work on our arena today! First order of business was removing an old, non-working irrigation system. Special thanks to Scott with TT&E Inc in Victor for renting us the mini-excavator and showing me how to operate it! Next item on the checklist is taking off the topsoil and preparing the base.

We are excited to announce that our 2026 Riding Season will finally be starting in early July. We had some administrative obstacles that delayed us this year, but they've all been resolved. So, why aren't we starting right now? Because we're building an arena!!! Excavation work begins midweek and we'll spend next weekend pounding posts!

Veterans helping Veterans: As a Veteran-led program, we love supporting other Veteran-owned businesses. Huge shout out to Barn Owl for setting us up with solar / cellular security cameras with a significant Veteran's discount. We're really pleased with the AI enabled alert feature, the live feed capability and the instant access from anywhere with no dependence on power or WiFi!

Our horses, Great Pyrenees, and our participants will all benefit from the enhanced security!

Without Your support, our students would have to pay nearly $150 per lesson to cover costs of the horses, facilities, equipment and insurance.

Without volunteers to serve as Side Walkers and Horse Leaders, many of our students would not be able to participate.

It's National Invest in Veterans Week! How can you do your part? Make an effort to buy from or partner with veteran-owned businesses in your community. You can also promote your favorite veteran-owned businesses on social media! Investing in a veteran is a way to show them that you’re thankful for their service.

It's so hard to believe it's still February given the lack of snow, the clear sunny days and warmer temps. It's certainly making it harder to wait for our 2026 season to start!!!

But - we have a LOT of work to do before we start up this Spring. We are busy applying for grants and seeking sponsorships to help defray costs for our students, and we continue to make facility improvements. The horses are all doing very well, and it's time to start getting them in shape for the season.

We'll soon be setting a date for an information meeting for anyone wanting to volunteer with us and for folks wanting to participate in the program. We also plan to start volunteer training and will have a couple of work days ahead of our Spring session to get the facilities ready - so stay tuned for updates and announcements!

Our hearts are broken today. Many people who have come out to our property over the past couple years have been greeted by the great big fluffies, Khan and Kat. Khan recently developed some serious eye problems and in less than a week has gone blind via secondary glaucoma. Most likely cause according our our Vet - trauma caused by someone pepper spraying him over our fence. The damage is permanent.

It's a long shot, but if anyone has any information that could help us determine who may have done this, we would love to hear from you.

Cameras are being installed across the property and we are taking extra measures to ensure our horses are secure and safe.
