True Grit Running Company, LLC is always there to support their run community. Sign up for the 5k or fun run Saturday morning for a chance at some sweet gift cards. Fun Run/Walk will be $15, and 5k will be $25. Pay with cash or check. Proceeds go to the Vian Community Foundation. Check in is from 6:00-6:45. Fun Run 7:00. 5k 7:30.

The Crossing is bringing on BODYARMOR hydration and protein bars. They have folks that know how to workout and know how important it is to replenish those electrolytes and start building back stronger muscles with some protein. They added an impressive play set recently at their location between Vian and Gore. Glad they’re investing in the kids health. But I’ll tell you what I really like. I saw a sign over the kids department door: “We do hard things.” Love it! Check them out sometime. Remember adults, ”we do hard things” is caught, not taught. Be a role model this Saturday. Show your friends and relatives that you can do hard things and still have a good time. Thanks Sydney Russell and Brittney Page for making this happen. 😃
