🏆 Senior County Championship Meet – Let’s Go VSA! 🏆

Senior County is our end-of-season championship meet, and we’d love to see all qualified swimmers participate! It’s held at the best pool in Birmingham (the crossplex) and is always an incredible experience for our swimmers.

If your swimmer has qualifying times, please consider signing up!
This is a competitive and exciting meet, and we need everyone to show up strong — we have a real shot at winning this year!

💰 Meet Fees
• $20 facility fee per swimmer
• $5 per individual event
• $10 per relay (split between 4 swimmers)

Good afternoon, VSA!

🎉 Congratulations on finishing the regular season undefeated! What an incredible accomplishment—we are so proud of our swimmers!

As we head into the final stretch of our summer season, here are a few important reminders:

🏊‍♂️ No practice this Friday as our coaches will be traveling to Huntsville to compete in the Southeastern Swim Championship. Wish them luck!

📅 Last Chance Meet – Tuesday Night at Homewood Parks & Rec
This optional meet has a $20 fee per swimmer and is a great opportunity for athletes who are close to a Senior County cut to try one more time to qualify.

💛 Senior County time standards are posted in the comments and highlighted in yellow.
For example, if your 8-year-old swims the 25 Free in under 23.89 seconds, they’ve made the cut!

🏆 Senior County is our season finale and a really exciting meet for all who qualify. We’ve been runner-up the last few years and would love to bring home the championship trophy this year. Let’s go, VSA!

It’s meet day! Tonight we take on Homewood Parks & Rec — warm-ups start at 4:30 PM and the meet begins at 5:00 PM. This is our last regular season meet, and we’d love to finish the season undefeated! Let’s make it happen — come ready to swim and cheer each other on! 💪🎉

📍 Hosted by Shades Cliff Swim Team
📍 Location: 2213 Hawksbury Lane, Birmingham, AL 35226

🕟 Warm-ups: 4:30–5:00 PM
🕔 Meet Starts: 5:00 PM

🅿️ Parking: There are three medium-small lots, but plenty of street parking nearby — be prepared to walk a bit.
🪑 What to Bring: Lawn chairs are recommended to supplement pool seating. Tents are allowed if they’re reasonably sized and don’t block others’ views.

💧 Water & ice will be available — bring your own cup!
🚻 Bathrooms and changing rooms will be open.
