Rosy has completed her ACE personal training certification and is gaining some experience with us for the next few weeks.

Shoutout to Darryl Reynolds. Since starting in February, Darryl has lost over 16 pounds and 3.5% body fat!

Darryl has stuck to his meal plan and fitness routine to a tee and has managed to make some AMAZING progress in such a short amount of time.

He is receiving complements left and right from friends and family that have noticed his dramatic progress so quickly.

Darryl is always game during his workouts. He pushes hard and is a blast to have in the gym. Keep your eyes peeled for his continued progress!!

Most people think that the less they eat, the better. Fortunately, that’s not how weight loss works!

Your body needs adequate meals and nutrients each day to properly function. That means frequent meals that are well balanced with protein and lots of micronutrients with fruits and veggies.

When you do not feed your body enough, all the food that you do end up eating gets stored as FAT. This is your body's way of holding onto it for later. That means those nutrients will NOT be utilized to burn fat, provide energy, recover after a hard workout, or fight bacteria and disease.

It is best to eat small meals every 4-6 hours to provide a regular eating pattern that your body can predict. That way your body can use the nutrients from the food to keep you healthy and happy!

Deceiving food labels can be the reason you aren’t seeing results in the gym.

Take these two greek yogurts for example…

The Salted Caramel Greek Yogurt contained over double the calories per serving, 4 times the amount of sugar, and less than half of the protein when compared to a regular nonfat UNFLAVORED greek yogurt.

Unflavored yogurt can be easily spiced up with some protein powder or your favorite fruit, so there is no need for added sugars and calories while sacrificing protein.

Not to mention, the flavored yogurt contains 8 ingredients compared to just 1 ingredient in the unflavored option.
