We have been very busy over the past few weekends! We want to congratulate all of our wrestlers for all of their accomplishments and hard work.

Eli Watts and Bryer Rogers were one match away from placing at the Middle School Championships.

STATE CHAMP ALERT!! Congratulations to Hadli Lemaster on becoming the first STATE CHAMPION in Woodford Elite Wrestling Club history! 💪🏻🎊🎉🥰🤗💪🏻 This young lady works her butt off and strives to be the best at everything she does. We are all very proud of you!! Keep up the hard work!!

Tomorrow on 1/18/26 we were cordially invited to a group open mat at Elkhorn Middle School from 9am-12. There will be a group of youth teams here from surrounding county’s in preparation for the upcoming Regional Tournament. There is no need to change anything through USA Wrestling as it is an open practice! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions.

Woodford Elite Wrestling has provided a year round free youth wrestling program for the past 7 years by 100% volunteer coaches. Our goal has been to help kids develop and grow, learning valuable life lessons by participating in wrestling.

The Woodford County School System informed us yesterday that we are no longer permitted to use any school facilities for that purpose. There was no explanation provided, nor any opportunity given to discuss the issue.

We are very proud of all the wrestlers we have worked with and will miss having the opportunity to coach them.

We had a great day of wrestling yesterday at the Bluegrass Nationals in Louisville, KY.! We had 5 national champs, and numerous runners-up and placers. Congratulations to our wrestlers, coaches, and parents!
