First night of defensive pistol is this Tuesday, May 12. Shooting starts at 5:30 but we start setting up at 4:30 and can always use help moving all the gear and setting targets and barricades up.

We lost a long time member last week. Bob Davidson, affectionately known as Mr. D at the club, passed away. Bob will be remembered by the older members of the club. He made the installation of the parking lot light poles happen at no cost to the club. He was always around helping out, shot bullseye pistol in the travelling league, and participated in our steel falling plate shoots early on. Here is a link to his obituary.

Today we said good bye to our best garage/Gun Club/reloading partner and best overall dog ever, Daisy May. Our lady made it to 14 years old. You will be sadly missed by our family. You made a big impact to our kids. We will forever remember all the good times we had. Listening to you bark at anyone who intrudes our space trying to keep us safe and hanging out under the maple tree with you. These are things that can’t be replaced. We hope you are running wild and free chasing the chickens and eating lots of peppers and pole beans. No dog will ever replace you. We love you so much. Rest in peace Queen Daisy. 11 years she come to the gun club meeting night and plate shoot nights.
