608elite is a co-ed 7v7 soccer league that was started in 2015 by us, Carl Refsell and Laurel Ghosh Roy. Our goal for this league is first and foremost to provide our community and teammates with an affordable place to play high level soccer. Soccer should be an enjoyable escape that leaves you feeling better than when you arrived. Having been involved members in the Madison soccer community, we decided to try our hand at creating a custom soccer experience starting with the variables that we as players feel are important, overlooked, or non-existent. The result was 608elite.
People join 608elite for affordable, high level soccer, and they stay for the atmosphere. Here, players have the opportunity to play on two side-by-side high quality turf fields, with accredited and familiar referees. We play on the Goodman Pitch fields at Reddan Soccer Park, fully lined, with full sized goals. We truly believe that refs set the tone for every game, and because of this we compensate our referees competitively (not to mention the added bonus of having a say in our 608 playlists). Fees for refs, maintenance, lighting, game balls and prizes are all included in a flat team fee.
