With the upcoming 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀 & 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹, the pool at Natural Chimneys will be 𝙘𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙙 to the public beginning 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟳 and will reopen 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟯.
That means this weekend and the first part of next week are your last chances to take a dip at Natural Chimneys before festival week begins!
If you're looking to cool off while the Chimneys pool is closed, don't forget about our pool at 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸. It may be a bit of a drive, but it's worth the trip—and your pool pass works there too!
Want to make a day of it? On Thursday, you can pair your swim with a visit to the 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 set up at the park, making the journey even more rewarding.

This transformation at Working House VA is astounding! Did you know they offer weeklong youth programs for us during the summer? Both at their farm and our parks! For $100/week your child ages 8-12 can explore the outdoors with guided activities that spark their curiosity and imaginations from 9AM-4PM every day. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙞𝙙𝙙𝙡𝙚 𝙍𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧!
This past Saturday, a group joined Friends of the Middle River for a leisurely float down one of Augusta County's greatest natural treasures. With blue skies, calm water, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the scenery, it was the perfect reminder that some of the best summer adventures happen right in our own backyard.

This summer, Augusta County Parks & Recreation is offering several opportunities designed with older adults in mind:

𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 now meets 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀—giving you even more flexibility to fit fitness into your week. 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝘂ly 𝟮𝟬.
