Hip was limiting his game. Now he is back in tournaments doing this.

He did not shut it down and sit out the season. He addressed it, stayed in the game, and his body did what it does when you give it the right work at the right time. Two inside-the-park home runs and a couple of innings on the mound with no hip pain is not luck. That is what playing the long game looks like.

Follow for rehab, performance, and longevity tips.

DM us "Discovery Call" if you have a nagging hip, knee, or shoulder that keeps showing up when you compete, and you want to know what is actually going on.

Giancarlo Stanton just lost his season because he came back from a right calf strain before it was ready, and the left calf paid the price.

This is the week 6 to 8 return-to-baseball protocol we use for a mild to moderate calf strain in an outfielder. Three blocks: mobility, calf activation, and a full progressive running sequence built around the actual demands of the position.

Built for baseball players who want to get back on the field and stay there.

Follow for rehab, performance, and longevity content.

DM us “Discovery Call” if you or your athlete is dealing with a calf strain and needs a real return-to-sport plan.

Months of shoulder pain. Back on the court and back under the bar.

Empty barbell strict press pain-free. Two tennis sessions, including working the serve. That is the exact overhead pattern that most shoulder injuries make athletes afraid to revisit. It does not come back by accident.

Hard work in the right direction at the right time is what gets you here. That is what playing the long game looks like.

Follow for rehab, performance, and longevity tips.

DM us "Discovery Call" if you have a shoulder that keeps flaring up and want to know what is actually going on.

If your knee has been hurting for more than three months and rest keeps bringing you back to the same place, this is the protocol.

Patella tendinopathy in the chronic phase does not respond to rest. It responds to load. Specifically, slow, controlled, heavy load applied in the right sequence. This session is built around three phases: isometric work to start tolerating load again, eccentric loading to drive the actual remodeling, and isolated accessory work to finish. Pain during the eccentric work should stay under 4 out of 10 and should improve as the sets go on.

Built for athletes dealing with chronic knee pain who want to get back to jumping, cutting, and competing without the pain coming right back.

Follow for rehab, performance, and longevity content.

DM us "Discovery Call" if you have had knee pain for months and want a real plan built around where your tendon actually is.

4.5 miles. No rest. Pain-free at the end.

That is not luck. That is what consistency looks like when you give the body what it actually needs to adapt. For someone who has been dealing with pain during or after exercise, the day that flips is a big deal.

The goal was never just less pain. It was getting back to running without paying for it the next day. That is exactly what we build toward.

Follow for rehab, performance, and longevity tips.

DM us “Discovery Call” if you are dealing with pain that keeps coming back after runs or workouts and want to know what is actually going on.

This is what PCL rehab looks like in the phase most athletes rush through.

Weeks 12 to 20 is when the pain is mostly gone, the knee feels close to normal, and the temptation to do too much is at its highest. It is also the phase that determines whether you come back at full capacity or end up back at square one. The posterior chain work in this phase has to be built to a higher level than most protocols take it. The running comes back in a specific way for a specific reason. Every section here has a job.

Built for athletes recovering from PCL injuries at any level. The exercises and progressions apply whether you are a high school athlete or a professional.

Follow for rehab, performance, and longevity content.

DM us "Discovery Call" if you have a knee injury you have been managing conservatively and are not sure whether the tissue is actually ready or just not actively hurting.

225 pounds for 8 reps with two still left in the tank. New personal record.

The shoulder we have been building did not just hold up. It performed. That is the difference between managing pain and actually fixing what caused it. When the structure is right, the numbers follow.

Follow for rehab, performance, and longevity tips.

DM us "REBUILD" if a shoulder issue has been holding your training back and you want to get it right.

Most shoulder rehab fails in Phase 2. Here is what a full day looks like when you are doing it right.

Phase 2 is the stability phase. Weeks six through ten. It is the phase most athletes skip because the pain is manageable and they assume they are ready to load. They are not. Stability means maintaining correct joint position under unexpected, high-speed, high-force demands. That is not the same as strength.

This is the full sample Phase 2 rehab day from the shoulder injury guide. Every block, every exercise, every note.

Built for overhead athletes, contact athletes, and anyone who has had a shoulder injury and wants to know what a real return to sport looks like.

Follow for rehab, performance, and longevity content.

DM us “Discovery Call” if you have a shoulder that keeps flaring up and have not gotten a real structural assessment.

The summer heat lowers ball compression. It is the hardest time of the year to hit a home run.

He hit one anyway, on a pitch that was not even perfect, after not hitting one in nearly a year.

That is not a lucky swing. That is a body that was built to perform when it counts.

Follow for rehab, performance, and longevity tips.

DM us "Sports Performance" if you are a baseball player who wants to add power and get back on the field at your best.

Most calf strains come back. Not because of bad luck. Because this phase got skipped.

Phase three eccentric loading is the step that determines whether an athlete returns clean or reinjures in the first week back. The tissue has to learn to decelerate under load before you ask it to decelerate at full speed. This is the full phase three protocol we use at Hercules PPT.
Built for athletes dealing with a calf strain or working their way back to sport.

Follow for rehab, performance, and longevity content.

DM us "Discovery Call" if you are dealing with a calf strain and want to get your return to sport program started.
