Derby Dolls operate as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization under the name CA Derby Dolls. Founded in 2003, the L.A. Derby Dolls (www.derbydolls.com) are Southern California’s premiere banked-track, quad-skating, roller derby league. Within the league, four fierce teams battle for dominance:

Have you ever thought about becoming a Derby Doll? Here is your chance!
Fresh Meat Tryouts are coming up and online registration is OPEN!!!

Fresh Meat is our training program for cis women, trans women, and non-binary folks 18 and older, and designed to create, condition and mold roller derby athletes.

The cost of participating in try outs is $20.
We are looking for skaters who are safe enough to skate on the banked track and who have some proficiency in the following skills:

*T-stops/ Back-stops
*Snow Plows
*Knee touches
*Paceline slalom
*Skating the track
*Entering the infield

And are hungry to learn🔥🔥🔥

Who is ready for a Babydoll Brawl! This will be the last Baby Doll Brawl of the season. So don't miss out 🫵
Our adult level 1 skaters (aka Fresh Meat) will be taking the track against Arizona Derby Dames's rookie skaters. We are so excited to be hosting another bout to celebrate both league's beginner skaters.

AND our Junior skater's will be having their Expo Camp Bout! Our young skaters will have been practicing their derby skills all week and we cannot wait to see them show off what they learned.

The LA Derby Dolls includes skaters, referees, volunteers, and fans who are q***r, trans, and immigrant and proudly stands on the foundation of being unapologetically ourselves. We recognize that women's sports, especially youth sports, are being used as battlegrounds to push transphobia, misogyny, and exclusion under the guise of "protection." We reject these harmful narratives and stand firm in our commitment to a sport that welcomes and uplifts all who find a home in it.

Our stance is clear: transgender, nonbinary, gender-nonconforming, and BIPOC athletes and fans belong here. They are loved, they are protected, they are celebrated, and they are part of us - on our track, in our league, and in our community. We reaffirm our dedication to making our spaces as safe, inclusive, and affirming as possible, for skaters and fans of all genders and backgrounds.
