Vernon Horseshoe League

Vernon Horseshoe League Established June 1, 2011.

We, the horseshoe pitchers of the Vernon area, in New Jersey, in order to promote and foster the game of horseshoe pitching as a sport, to provide the opportunity and facilities for all persons interested in horseshoes in our area to participate. We use, "The Offical Playing Rules, Guidelines, and Specifications", from "The National Horseshoe Pitchers Association (NHPA)", as our guideline for our league.

Hello all,

I hope you all are doing well as we braved this long, very cold winter. The warmer weather predicted in the near forecast has me looking ahead and longing for Spring! I wanted to let you know we will be having our bi-annual all membership meeting on Monday, March 23rd, 6:30pm at the Vernon Senior Center.

We will go over details about the 2026 season, allow for team rosters to be updated, dues can be paid ($20 per player) and new teams/players can be added. Captains, if you cannot attend this meeting, please make sure at least one representative is present for your team. All current members and prospective members are encouraged to come to this meeting too.

We are still looking to fill our Treasurer position. If you are interested or would like more information, please come to the meeting and/or contact me.
