VMS baseball parents you can be very proud of your children tonight.
The way they conducted themselves tonight was beyond exceptional.

They may aggravate the living daylights out of me on the bus I know that is them playing around and having some fun. However when they are out in public they are polite and respectful.

That is a reflection of you and tonight they had fun.

Now that our regular season has come to an end.
On behalf of every player that is part of the program.

Thank you to all the businesses that made investments into our program.

Thank you to all the parents, friends of players and the siblings that played a role working the gate and concession stand during our games.

I can't thank those who made the invitational we held enough for making it the success it was.
Without your willingness to work as hard as you did that wouldn't have happened.

To the people that have attended our games and purchased items from our concession stand those purchases and funds raised creates the budget and livelihood that allows us to operate.
For that I am grateful because in the end all of those funds goes towards the use for our kids.

To the parents and my 8th grade players, I can't say thank you enough. I have to apologize to all of you as I was making the walk back and forth with your gift baskets because I got a little emotional and tried my best to not let it show.
Make no mistake about it, as intense as I am and as hard as I can be I love each and everyone of you.

We're not finished yet, the second season starts Monday with the conference tournament.

Play hard, good things happen!!!

The 2017 Tri county middle school baseball tournament will begin Monday April 17th at the Shady Grove ballpark in Vernon, Florida.

The Grand Ridge Indians won the regular season conference title. The Roulhac Tigers finished in second place. The Graceville Tigers finished in third place. The two time defending champion Bonifay Blue devils finished in fourth place and the tournament host Vernon Yellow Jackets finished in fifth place.

The opening game of the tournament will be Monday April 17th at 6:00 with the 5th seed Vernon Yellow Jackets playing the fourth seeded Bonifay Blue Devils.

Tuesday April 18th the third seeded Graceville Tigers will play the second seeded Roulhac Tigers at 5:00.
In the second game Tuesday evening slated for a 7:15 start the winner of the Vernon and Bonifay game will play the regular season champion Grand Ridge Indians.

The winners of Tuesday nights semi final games will advance to play for the conference championship on Friday April 21st at 6:00.

All games will be played at the Shady Grove ballpark in Vernon, Florida.

First game at 4:30.
8th grade recognition and ceremony at 6:15.
Game two at 6:30.
