A statement from Hollywood Curling Board on the MoPac Board Statement Regarding USA Curling Transgender Athlete Policy.

“Hollywood Curling has reviewed MOPAC’s response to USA Curling’s updated Competition Category policy. While we recognize there exists a difference in opinion within MOPAC, we disagree with the board’s conclusion that there was no consensus on approach. MOPAC’s survey shows a majority of respondents favored some amount of advocacy to USA Curling. We also believe access to events is greater than a difference of opinion.

Hollywood Curling membership voted to remain with MOPAC in the hope of inspiring change through meaningful participation.”
