Studio 26.2 is a functional healing, wellness and fitness center offering a range of different fitness training including Group and Individual Classes. We offer a variety of fitness classes to meet your overall fitness goals including : Kettlebell Bootcamps, Yogalates, Cross-Training, Forever Strong Senior Fitness, Total Body Toning and Core Strength, Teen Strength and Conditioning, HIIT and others.
Kettlebell Training involves using weighted "kettlebells" to perform exercises that incorporate multiple body parts at once for a high calorie-burning workout. Kettlebells training has proven to be an effective core and full body straightening tool and can help you burn fat, build muscle, and increase strength and stamina.
Cross Training is short duration, functional movement training. It was developed for people of all ages to develop fitness in all areas including endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy. Each workout is varied but incorporates exercises from the disciplines of gymnastics, running, rowing, biking and weightlifting.
Yogalates
Yogalates is a combination of Pilates and Yoga to create a series of non-impact exercises designed to develop strength, flexibility, balance, and inner awareness. Yogalates can be performed by people of all fitness levels and is known for its ability to strengthen the muscles of the core. It emphasizes spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing, and development of a strong core or center, and can help improve your coordination and balance.
Strong Forever Senior Fitness
Strong Forever Senior Fitness classes are group exercise classes designed to help older adults maintain their cardiovascular health, strength and flexibility. These workouts focus on improving strength, coordination and cardio conditioning.
HIIT Training
High-intensity interval training (HIIT)is a form of interval training, a cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods.
Total Body Toning and Core Strength
This routine is all about defining your total body, sculpting every inch from head to toe. You’re going to feel that amazing burn in your arms, abs, legs and b***y!
Teacher Bootcamp
Boot Camp training commences with dynamic stretching and running, followed by a wide variety of interval training and various types of intense explosive routines. These classes promote fat loss, camaraderie, and team effort. They are designed to push people a little bit further than they would normally push themselves.
Teen Strength and Conditioning
Teen Class is here to provide the strongest base of general fitness for athletes and students. Our class is based on fun, technique, support, community, and making good decisions.
Tabatas HIIT
Tabata is great to get a quick workout in if you're short on time, you need to switch up your routine, or you want improve endurance and speed. Incorporate this type of workout into your fitness routine and produce results. I t is a timed interval method that alternates between 20-second intervals performed at maximum effort and 10-second stages of rest.
Mobility HIIT
Exercises will be geared towards increasing mobility throughout the entire body. Most of the daily aches & pains people have throughout their daily lives are typically due to imbalances created through the repetitive motions of their daily lives or workouts. This class is designed to help increase flexibility and to create strength throughout the entire ranges of motion of daily movements.
