Second Chance Shootout—Doubles, presented by Gateway Disc Sports is a Disc golf doubles tournament in Fayette, Alabama beginning August 16, 2025 and hosted by Todd Bryant.

We are excited to announce that our FBCV Disc Golf course is complete and open to the public! We are happy to be able to provide the community with a place to experience fellowship with one another.

Each tee is equipped with a course map and the gospel, in an attempt to expose as many people to the good news of Jesus Christ as possible.

This course was designed and planted in memory of Michael Pennington.

TEE PADS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED!!!
We’re asking if you play disc golf to drive over to the city park in Vernon and play a round! While you’re here get a bite to eat or visit some of the local stores and let them know DISC GOLF brought you to town! If we get the number of rounds up there’s a possibility of adding an additional nine holes in the near future! HELP US OUT AND COME PLAY A ROUND! We’re on UDISC!

A bit warm but a beautiful day at Vernon Disc Golf ! Course looked great the guys at the park cleared a bunch of over grown area that made the course play even better!! Thanks to all the city workers for giving the community a clean place to play and exercise!!

The course has been mowed and looks awesome! If you need disc Cottage 17 in Vernon has a few random ones and a starter set! Go out and play and get some exercise!

The City of Vernon has been mowing at the course and it looks great!! If you haven’t played this 9 hole course you’re missing out!! Still grass tees but it’s a really fun and challenging course! While you’re in town stop and support the local businesses they will appreciate it!!
