Almost forgot to say Thank you.

Thank you Streamlight, Inc. for sending me a replacement lens because my melted down.

New lens came with an Allen wrench and no directions. No directions part is neither here or there as it is really 4 bolts. It would have been handy to know I needed to use some force, or there might be a magic move during re-assembly. There is a pin on the inside closer to the front, and I guess it has to be man handled to get into the hole. Besides that little issue, it was an easy change.

I ended up using my armorer tools to get the job done as little Allen wrench is well, little. Took time to clean out on the inside some dust that got collected over the years. Unit is really nicely sealed on the inside, forgot to take picture.

Now my light is back to 100% once again.

Do you know what your hand gun is capable off? Do you know what you are capable off?

If you dont test your gear or your self are you really prepared?

This is an 8 rounds of deliberate fire of 2 at a time from 21, 30, 45, and 75 feet from an identical copy of what I carry which is P365Macro with 507K dot.

We will talk more next week on training and distance shots

When one of your family members asks if you read 1984 and you say yes. they follow up with, do you have it in a print format and you realize that you only have it in Audiobook format

Solution!? You quickly order 1984 and Animal Farm in print and give it to them

It is a MUST read

in a spirit of "Be Kind" and "Be Nice" and "Be Cool" for this week.

we have people that still think car gun magnets and other things like that is a thing. Instead of trying to burn my energy I am going to link to a tube channel by my friends at PHLster and let you learn at your own pace.

as always, you can continue to do what you have been doing. It is AMERICA for FS, but it might serve to listen to others who actually study this, test stuff and see what works and what does not.

The choice is yours.

I guess this week we will dedicate to "Be Kind" and "Be Nice" and "Be Cool"

Another example of life lost over something that many of us would not see as a big deal. What we sometimes fail to understand is other people are NOT US. As late Dr. William April used to say "They are not like us" in reference to criminal element.

This is one of the main reasons I teach people how to say "I am Sorry". Not to be a coward, but to potentially defuse bad or even deadly situation. It is no different then what Jack Clemons used to teach with his "My Bad $20". It solves more problems then it creates and gives you greater ability to get home to what really matters safe.

Just finished listening to this podcast. Take time and listen to it. Thank you Matt Landfair for hosting it.

Saw few people recently tagged Jack Clemons. I only met him once and sadly he is no longer with us. But he had shared some real golden nuggets and he did so at th end of this episode

I keep talking about importance of continual education. Does not matter if you are a student or an instructor, one must always look for better ways to either do the work or teach/coach.

Friend of mine shared this new technique, it is linked in the comments, that I am going to experiment with and see if It will work on some of mine students who I have hard time figuring out a better way of explaining what I am trying to convey.

Who is ready for my next class?
