6.12.26 Variety Friday 6pm Class: “Qigong - cultivation of energy”
We are excited to have Gianpaul, one our regular yoga community members, presenting a basic intro to the practice of Qigong, including a warmup, while discussing the beliefs and benefits of this method of traditional Chinese medicine. This will lead into a demonstration and practice of the 8 movements (brocades) with an explanation of how each one is believed to help the body.
This dynamic class explores the grounding, fluid movements of Qigong. Flow through intentional sequences that balance effort and ease, cultivating awareness of both physical alignment and energetic flow. Qigong elements support vitality, focus, and stress reduction, enhancing the meditative rhythm of your practice. Expect to leave feeling balanced, centered, and deeply revitalized—strong in body and calm in mind.
