Congratulations to the 14 Uintah Softball players who capped off the season with All-Region honors!
Lynlie Hall was named Region 8 MVP and 1st Team All-Region. Hall pitched 22.2 innings during region play, had an ERA of 3.40, and faced 95 batters, giving up only 14 hits and recording 41 strikeouts.
Five more Utes earned 1st Team All-Region honors:
🥎 Kynlee Bristol had a .594 batting average with 5 doubles, a triple, and a home run, to go with a fielding percentage of .889 in region play.
🥎 Abbie Davis pitched 26.1 innings, had an ERA of 3.99, faced 128 batters, giving up only 31 hits and striking out 32. She also had a perfect fielding percentage with zero errors, and a .414 batting average with 3 doubles.
🥎 Ellie Lewis had a .560 batting average with 5 doubles and a home run.
🥎 Sophia Pope had a .500 batting average with 3 doubles, a triple, and a home run. She was also hit by 6 pitches and had a .980 fielding percentage.
🥎 Leena Sharp had a .545 batting average with a double and 3 triples, and had a perfect fielding percentage.
Five Utes also earned 2nd Team All-Region honors:
🥎 Addysen Hall had a .500 batting average with 2 doubles and a home run.
🥎 Taya Miller had a .433 batting average with 3 doubles and a home run.
🥎 Londyn Reary had a .300 batting average with a home run in an injury-shortened season.
🥎 Alexa Rios caught all 10 region games and had a .200 batting average.
🥎 Becca Williams had a .286 batting average with 1 home run.
Bailee Deets, Brynadee Deets, and Addison Lewis all received All-Region Honorable Mention. They each recorded 2 stolen bases in region play.
