Please Note - Posted August 26, 2021 9AM:

Since it looks like we’ll be blessed with more rain today & tomorrow, we’re moving the 1st day of league and public shooting to this Sunday afternoon, August 29th, 2 p.m. We’ve already have 8 teams that signed up during the storm last night and expect more. If we have more than 15 teams sign up, we’ll open up on Wednesday & Thursday nights at 5:30 p.m. the next 5 weeks so folks will have another option to get scores covered while we still have some daylight to work with.

REMINDER-HARVEST LEAGUE STARTS TONIGHT

We are very proud to announce CCSC’s 1st Fall Harvest League Shoot. The league shoot is open to everyone, you don’t have to be a member to enter and the club will still be open for the public to trap shoot.

Dates have been revised

Dates: Registration will be on August 29 starting at 2:00 p.m.

league will be on Wednesday nights, August 25th thru
September 29th (6 weeks)

START TIME WILL BE 5:30 P.M. every Wednesday, for the 6
weeks

Rain delay on a Wednesday, we’ll shoot Thursday, and if
we’re lucky enough to get 2 days of rain, we’ll move to
Sunday afternoon 2 p.m.

Format: 2 person teams
each team will shoot 4 rounds per week-each team member must shoot 2 rounds to count for their teams league score

Week #1 & #2 all teams will shoot from the 16 yard line

Week #3, we level the playing field off by assigning each team a handicap yardage to shoot from, based on the teams total clays shot, week #1 & #2 , as follows:

191-200=25 yard line

181-190=23 yard line

171-180=21 yard line

161-170=20 yard line

160 or less=19 yard line

week #4, #5, & #6 yardage will be determined by the week priors score (total team score ÷ 4=handicap yardage)

SAFETY: when we move into the handicap rounds

19-22 yard line will shoot on one trap

23-25 yard line will shoot on a different trap

Scores: we’ll use the honor system for each team to turn in their scores, by round, each week
no cherry picking, you declare the league rounds prior to shooting it!
Cost: $100/team covers the 6 week league, any rounds shot after the 2 rounds/week for league, will still need a ticket punch

($60/team covers target cost, $40/team will go to the prize pool)

Prizes: will be based on 6 week target total
Since it looks like we’ll be blessed with more rain today & tomorrow, we’re moving the 1st day of league and public shooting to this Sunday afternoon, August 29th, 2 p.m. We’ve already have 8 teams that signed up during the storm last night and expect more. Prizes/payouts/rewards will be decided when we have the total team count

Teams that have a scoring tie for a prize slot will shoot off to decide the winner

And if we have enough teams, we may be able to split the prize line i.e.:

19-22 yards=1st 2nd 3rd

23-25 yards=1st 2nd 3rd

And if you’ve never shot a handicap round, come on out on a Wednesday evening before August 25th and we’ll shoot some with you!
