Friends and bike folks,
Tim is having triple bypass surgery today, and will need many weeks to recover and get back to his cheery self. During this time the shop will be closed, but the foster bike team will come in some Fridays/Saturdays until he’s back. Feel free to message with any words for Tim, he will be recovered enough by next week to read them - he has much appreciated all of your support this year!

For those asking how they can support Tim during his healing process, he said that donations to Green Mountain Foster Bikes would ease his stress. Donations not only build bikes for foster kids, but also keep the lights/water/etc on so that our volunteer team can build those bikes, and any dollar helps elevate the fundraising burden from his plate. Little City Cycles has people helping complete his business work, but it leaves GMFB at a deficit in the fundraising time. If it’s something you’d like to donate to remember that all donations are tax deductible!

Dear bike friends,
Unfortunately, last week Tim had a health incident from a previously unknown heart issue while riding his bicycle. This caused him to pass out and crash, which resulted in a brain bleed, 5 broken ribs, and multiple fractures in his face. He’s home from the hospital and healing well now, but he does have a healing journey ahead of him. He has a few of us helping at the shop and will be stopping by to give direction here and there, but because of this our hours may be cut a little short and some repairs might take a little longer than usual. Any patience with us and support for Tim and his family is greatly appreciated.

Grand Opening of Green Mountain Foster Bikes & Little City Cycles on July 8th!

As a HUGE thank you to our community for the great amount of help you’ve given us in opening our bicycle center, we are hosting a community ride and open house!
The family friendly community ride will leave Little City Cycles at 8:30am and go to Kingsland Bay and back, ending around 10:00am.
After the ride will be an all day Open House and GMFB DONOR/VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION! Join us for appetizers, LIVE MUSIC with THE OLD BONES BAND at 12pm, and an open mic for any and all musicians, 11-4pm!
