Waking up in Montana 😃😁😴

It’s still a little brisk to camp in Missoula in May. Wind blew in a rainstorm early this morning but our sleeping bags kept everyone cozy. There’s something so satisfying about camping in cool spring temperatures. Let the adventures begin!

In all seriousness tho, I do get very excited to juice because it helps me stay healthy in our busy season right now and I feel so light!

I have been playing around with different recipes but this is my favorite so far! It’s so SWEET! But it still has all the veggies.

I have found that Kale, spinach and all the other leaves don’t juice much. So instead I combine the juicer with the blender and make a smoothie with frozen veggies to give it that cool crips and refreshing texture.

Butchering OTG ⬇️

One of the most important parts about hunting for me is taking care of the meat myself.

When I am successful on a hunt, everyone in the family knows, a grind party is soon to follow. -David

Don’t wait until your successful in the field to have the best meat processing tools in your garage.

I can no longer count on my fingers and toes the amount of “once in a lifetime” opportunities I’ve had. It’s become a running joke with my wife because I tell her that every single hunt I have is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

“But babe, how many times in my life am I going to be able to hunt waterfowl on public land with Remi when there’s no wind blowing, not a cloud in the sky, and the temperatures are in the mid 50s? It’s truly a once in a lifetime hunt.” 🤣

Alexandra: “You just got back from a once in a lifetime hunt last week and you told me that hog hunt next week was too…” At some point I will need to come up with a new phrase or she will catch on.

All jokes aside this was truly one of the Wise family’s best adventures yet and you owe it to yourself to go watch the clip!
