Well, as the season comes to a close I want to express how proud I am of our seniors. Some of these guys have been in the program for 4-5 years, no we may not have gotten the number of wins we hoped for, but these young men played hard, and bought in to what we were trying to teach. I am super proud of each one of you!! Underclassmen, now we need to rest a little while and get back to work!! The future is bright for the Verbena Red Devils and I am excited to be a part of it!! Well, we lost a tough jr high game tonight. Frustration reached us all (including me their coach) I am proud of the young men and their grit. There definitely are things to get better at, but in order to know how to win, we must first learn how to lose. Pain of loss can be and will be a great motivator for these young men.
