Nicholas Leonard Jr. Joins Boscacci Racing for 2026 Western Midget Racing Season
San Jose, CA — Nicholas Leonard Jr. of San Jose, California is excited to announce his plans to compete full-time in Western Midget Racing (WMR) during the 2026 season. Nicholas will be driving a full-size midget for Tony Boscacci Racing, one of the most respected teams in West Coast midget racing.
“I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to race with Boscacci Racing,” said Nicholas. “My goals for the season are to learn as much as possible, be a strong and supportive teammate, and of course, compete for wins.”
Nicholas will be teammates with Anthony Bruno, who will pilot the No. 19 entry for the team. The pairing is expected to bring a strong mix of experience, competitiveness, and teamwork to the WMR field.
Nicholas began racing at just six years old and has built an impressive resume over the years. In recent seasons, he has continued to sharpen his skills competing in micro sprint and late model racing.
The primary focus for the 2026 season will be running the full WMR schedule. In addition, Nicholas plans to compete in select micro sprint and late model events on off weekends to stay sharp and gain additional seat time.
With a strong team, a proven background, and a full season ahead, Nicholas Leonard Jr. is eager to take the next step in his racing career and make an impact in Western Midget Racing.
