MCRC Equestrian

MCRC Equestrian MCRC Equestrian is a riding center for people of all ages and abilities, located at Canada Larga Stables. We stress safety, fun and equitation.

We teach beginners through advanced and have monthly lesson packages on school horses or your own horse. Located at the gorgeous Canada Larga Stables, MCRC Equestrian is a licensed United States Pony Club riding center. We teach horsemanship from the ground up. All students are required to be responsible for the care and grooming of the horse(s) they ride. We teach groundwork, grooming, tacking an

d excellence in equitation. A fun and family-oriented environment is important to us, and we have a lot of group activities. Although we are very active in Pony Club events, students do not have to be pony club members. We hold a limited number of shows per year at our own facility for all skill levels. We even have a P*e Wee program!

We have openings in our barn! I’ve retired several of my lesson horses and moved them out in larger spaces, opening up stalls with runs in our personal barn for horses in our program. We are the group that does everything, but we have a strong focus on hunter/jumpers, working equitation and dressage. We are at the gorgeous Cañada Larga Stables, and our barn is attached to one of the two covered arenas, so through this heat wave been made in the shade! My Facebook memories are full of old nostalgia today. I love the caption on this. It’s been a lot of years leading people around on horses, except that now I’ve mostly passed the baton at this point on all the beginner lessons to Hana. Oh, and fun fact, it was at the therapy riding program that I sat in my first Stübben saddle, and thought it was the best thing I had ever sat in. I’ve been riding in Stübben saddles ever since.

Coming soon! Working equitation Sundays at Cañada Larga Stables. We will have one to two Sundays per month where we will be doing small group working equitation lessons on a reservation basis. The price is $50 for boarders and $85 for non-boarders, which includes the facility fee. Contact us to get on the emailing list!
