➡️ What is ROCK STEADY BOXING?
💥 Rock Steady Boxing (RSB) a boxing-inspired fitness program that provides an effective form of physical exercise for people living with Parkinson’s.
💥 RSB has been proven through research to slow disease progression, be neuro-protective, improve gait, balance, and quality of life, while reducing, delaying & even reversing Parkinson’s symptoms.
💥 RSB incorporates a combination of non-contact boxing exercises, functional movements, strength training & cognitive challenges.
💥 RSB involves moving your body in all planes of motion while continuously changing the routine as you progress through the workout. This can improve range of motion, flexibility & coordination.
💥 RSB’s non-contact boxing, HIIT training fitness provides a sense of efficacy, self-worth, plus camaraderie with others who have Parkinson’s.
💥 RSB provides encouragement through a “tough love” approach, inspiring maximum effort, speed, strength, balance & flexibility.
💥 RSB participants are guided by qualified coaches who tailor the workout to individual abilities & needs.
💥 RSB has shown that anyone, at any level of Parkinson’s, can actually lessen their symptoms and lead a healthier, happier & more independent life.
➡️ EQUILIBRIUM Physical Therapy is proud to offer RSB at our NeuroPerformance Gym.
