A friendly yacht club located in Ventura, California The club also has a two-ton hoist and dry storage spaces for trailerable boats up to 30 feet.

Founded in 1938, Ventura Yacht Club is the oldest yacht club in Ventura County and one of the more unique clubs in the United States. VYC is a full service facility located on the west side of Ventura Harbor between the Ventura Harbor Village and the Channel Islands National Park headquarters. VYC owns and operates a 91 slip marina for members and maintains a spacious 240-foot guest dock for members and visitors with yacht club reciprocity. VYC offers a wide variety of boating activities, social events, weekend dining and even a youth program (http://vycyouthsailing.org/) that has introduced thousands of youngsters to the sport of sailing.
