Typo or Tactic? 🕵️♂️👇
Take a close look at this listing. The title clearly screams "PSA 10," but when you look at the actual slab in the photo, it’s clearly a PSA 9.
We want to know what you guys think is going on here:
1️⃣ The Innocent Typo: The seller was listing a bunch of cards, got moving too fast, hit the wrong key, and genuinely didn’t notice the mistake.
2️⃣ The Search Hijack: It’s 100% intentional keyword stuffing. They know the hobby searches for tens way more than nines, so they put "PSA 10" in the title just to force their card into your premium search results.
Drop your vote in the comments: Is this a mistake or a scammy tactic? Either way, if you're buying high-end raw or graded cards on eBay, remember that the Authenticity Guarantee program is there as a safety net. If a listing is flagged as "Significantly Not as Described" (like claiming a 10 but shipping a 9), it’s an automatic fail at the authentication center—the order gets canceled, and you get refunded.
