ause it’s “Sticky Hands” (Chi Sao) training is designed to teach a practitioner to feel their way in with a very high level of sensitivity, it is not only complimentary to any style that does not have this as an inherent training characteristic, it is a great deal of fun to practice as well! Sifu Shaman provides Martial arts in NJ and maintains a training atmosphere where only the most positive, constructive and learning oriented attitudes are permitted. He firmly believes that it is under these types of respectful and playful conditions, with a true sense of “NJ Kung Fu Family”, that all genuine and most profound growth can develop. While Wing Chun is known for being an “inside” fighting system, because all of it’s techniques are designed to go straight inside with a direct and linear attack, Bagua gets in even closer! Being as they both rely upon being properly grounded and feeling, they are quite beautifully compatible. Where Wing Chun relies upon the logic of a straight line attack, Bagua adds a completely unpredictable twisting element that can be extremely confusing to an opponent who has not yet encountered it.
